On 11-10-2020, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team, Hyderabad, on credible information conducted raid on “AN National Travels Office”, Opp. Nampally Railway Station, Nampally, Hyderabad and apprehended two persons namely 1. Mohammed Silar Baba @ Silar (organizer) and 2. Syed Sajid (punter), while they were accepting Cricket betting on going IPL cricket match through cell phones from known and unknown punters and seized (03) Cell Phones and net cash of Rs. 7,520/- from the possession of the accused.

Particular of the Accused:

1. Mohammed Silar Baba S/o Mohammed Moula, age: 27 years, Occ: Ticket Book Boy @ “AN National Travels”, R/o near Albert School, Habeenagar Nala, Hyderabad. (Organizer)

2. Syed Sajeed S/o Syed Nizam, age: 27 years, Occ: Onion vendor, R/o near Alber School, Habeenagar Nala, Hyderabad. (Punter)

Modus operandi:

The accused Mohammed Silar Baba @ Silar who is the organizer accepting cricket betting amount from the known and unknown punters directly and indirectly over cell phones and collecting betting amounts for ongoing Dream11 IPL 2020 between Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) & Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Dubai by following live cricket match in cell phone apps and monitoring ball to ball live score to each and every latest news updates and gaining illegal profits, for this he is  using “AN National Travels Office”, Opp. Nampally Railway Station, Nampally, Hyderabad and Syed Sajeed playing cricket betting with Mohammed Silar Baba and seized (03) Cell Phones and net cash of Rs.7,520/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred Twenty only) from the possession of the accused. 

     

 The apprehended accused persons along with seized property were handed over to the S.H.O, Nampally Police Station, Hyderabad for further action. 

The raid was conducted under the supervision of Sri. P. Radha Kishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by Sri Mohd Abdul Javeed, Inspector of Police, Central Zone Team with the assistance of SIs Sri. Mohd Shahnawaz Shafi, Sri. K. Srinivasulu and Sri T. Sreedhar and the Staff of Central Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.
